Coyle Timber has been making and supplying square tapered tile pegs for many years.
Made using traditional methods from the heartwood of English Oak, these are most often used in historical or restoration projects.
The width of the peg relates to the size of the hole in the tile it is designed for. Bear in mind this is a handmade product – the taper of each peg will vary slightly. For the 16mm and 13mm pegs, the taper is typically +/- 3mm of the specified target width at the wide/narrow ends. For the 9mm and 6mm pegs the taper is typically +/- 2mm from the specified target width at the wide/narrow ends.
