British Larch is a dense and durable timber that naturally resists decay and insect attack, making it an ideal choice for exterior applications. The distinctive reddish-brown colour and straight grain pattern of British Larch provide a beautiful natural finish that can enhance the aesthetics of any building. It can be treated to enhance its natural colour or left untreated to allow it to weather naturally to a beautiful silver-grey patina over time.
Be aware that British Larch is different and cheaper option than Siberian Larch although both are tough and durable for a wide variety of applications. British Larch is a distinct specie from Siberian Larch as well as growing more quickly in the warmer environment which means that the grain is less dense and there are more and larger knots.
