  • Framing ProductsA wide variety of tile pegs are produced to suit many different applications. All pegs are hand cleft with no sapwood producing a peg of great strength and durability. Cleft-oak tile pegs have a number of advantages over galvanized or aluminum pegs: they are unaffected by salting or oxidization, or metal corrosion caused by copper/arsenic treatment of modern battening. Tile failure is becoming more common because of these reactions and can be avoided by using tile pegs, particularly if used in conjunction with riven oak batten. We can also produce any size of tile peg in softwood or Chestnut. These are made to order. All pegs come in units of 10
