Please note that most larger deliveries are made through the UK pallet network. As the customer, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are available to receive pallet deliveries on the scheduled delivery date and time. This includes making sure that the delivery location is accessible and can accommodate the size of the pallets and any equipment needed for unloading.

Here are some steps you can take to ensure that you are ready to receive a pallet delivery:

1. Confirm delivery details: We will confirm the delivery details with the pallet delivery company, including the date, time, and location of the delivery. Be sure to provide clear instructions and contact information in case of any issues. Unless specifically requested it is possible that your delivery will be by a larger vehicle. Please ensure that access is good. Any failure to deliver due to lack of receiving persons or poor access will require a redelivery (see below).

2. Arrange for offloading: Make sure that you have the necessary equipment and personnel to offload the pallets from the delivery truck. If you do not have this equipment, then goods will need to be manually unloaded and you need to ensure that this can be accomplished in a timely manner. The delivery company is under no obligation to assist with this process.

3. Inspect the delivery: Inspect the pallets and goods upon delivery to ensure that they are in good condition and that there is no damage. Take photos and document any issues, and report them to the Coyle Timber as soon as possible.

Please note that if you are unavailable to receive the delivery, the shipping company will charge additional fees for redelivery and/or storage. If the delivery cannot be made due to issues with accessing the delivery location or unloading the pallets, you will be responsible for any resulting redelivery fees or expenses.

By being prepared and taking responsibility for receiving pallet deliveries, you can help ensure that the delivery process goes smoothly and avoid any unnecessary charges or complications.
